TEHRAN (Tasnim) - FIFA has announced the referee team for the highly-anticipated opening match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup between Al Ahly SC and Inter Miami CF, scheduled to take place on June 15 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
- Sports news -Iranian referee Alireza Faghani has been appointed as the main referee.
He will be assisted by Anton Shchetinin and Ashley Beecham, with Szymon Marciniak also part of the officiating team.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is the 21st edition of the event, an international club soccer competition organized by FIFA.
The tournament will be held in Miami Gardens, the US, from June 14 to July 13.
